Michelin has been present in Malaysia since the 1960s, working closely with local partner Syarikat Kit Loong Sdn Bhd. In November 2002, Michelin Malaysia was incorporated as a private limited company.
In Malaysia, Michelin is actively involved in the sales and marketing of the following products:

- Truck & bus tyres
- Two wheel tyres
- Earthmover tyres

Michelin Services (S.E.A.) Sdn. Bhd. or MSEA in short was incorporated in Malaysia on 2 December 2004 as a private limited company.
MSEA functions as a South-East Asia (S.E.A.) headquarter in aspect such as Marketing and Customer Service to South East and South Asia countries (excluding Thailand and India).
