Pilot Sport 5 TYRE REVIEW

The pilot sport 5 are slightly a softer ride on my 308gti than my previous pilot sport 4s, but still give amazing grip in the dry and wet.

Burst tyre.. 225/45/18

I have only used this tire for 2 weeks..The tire has exploded from the inner edge. When I went to make a claim, unfortunately I couldn't... even though it wasn't my fault... how can Michelin ignore this problem...I am vey dissappointed with Michelin...

Very well, no noticeable loss of grip or skidding. They hold the road.

These tyres perform exceptionally well, especially in the wet, slightly louder road noise would be the only comment I would make, that's a small minor issue when considering handling and safety.

Superb all round tyres (pardon the pun)

Dry grip is superb - never lose grip in corners on twisty roads. Wet grip is also ample, however I’ve never really pushed the car during the wet for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, the car handles great with these tires. Definitely a discernible improvement from PS4s which I previously had - well worth the upgrade IMO. Wear is good, done roughly 4000 miles on them at the time of writing. Fuel economy is the same as the PS4s - pretty average. Overall: great tyre, no real negatives!

My tyres are performing perfectly, my car feels more stable and road holding in both dry and wet conditions is fantastic. It is great to know you car is sitting on a real quality product.

No issues with performance. At normal speeds used on roads performance appears the same as the more I expensive tyres used before.
