Last for 20% longer*

Thanks to 2CT technology with brand new tread compounds and a redesigned tread pattern, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres last on average 20% longer than MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 tyres. These tyres feature chamfered sipe edges that help prevent abnormal wear in extreme conditions and under heavy braking.

* According to internal study conducted in 2013 with 120/70 ZR17 (front) and 180/55/ZR17 (rear)

Shorter braking distances on wet surfaces

Thanks to their new XST+ sipe technology, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres reduce braking distances on wet roads and very slippery surfaces like white lines and pedestrian crossings.  The result is a safer, more reassuring ride.

Excellent grip

MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tyres provide optimal grip when cornering because of their patented tread pattern and specific tread compounds.
Tread grooving and siping also increases their ability to clear water.

Awesome

Streety - June 3, 2021

Great all weather grip, rain hail and shine. Good compromise on durabilty and grip level with the use of dual compunds between the centre of the tyre amd side walls. Used on a big heavy Suzuki Bandit 1250, mainly for daily highway use to and from work, but also provides superior confidence on the twisties on weekends. Cant wait to try the Pilot Road 5! Ultimate would be a Pilot Power but unfortunately daily commute would not be suitable for longevity.

Massive disappointment ???

Busa mick - December 25, 2020

From new they are without equal the very best tyre I've rode on since 1972. But with in 1800 miles the bike became dangerous to ride front tyre suddenly decided it had had enough it scalloped out causing awful steering problems the back worn much the same I was in Germany and the bike became so dangerous I had a new set fitted over there The tread was not even half worn. This happened 3 times costing me £900 in tyres to do 6000 miles. My Bridgestones now on the bike have done 3000 miles and must be another 2-3 k left in them. Michelin was not interested when I tried to get an answer . Also I know 2 other riders who had the same problem , my bike is an hayabusaI I use to tour Europe I've had 3 of them and totalled 100,64000 miles between them.

Long life and super sticky

Trigger - January 31, 2020

I have had these tyres on my Ninja 1000 Sports/Tourer for a few years now and the front Tyre needs replacing. It’s done 15,000 kms!!! The tyres stick to the road unbelievably in the dry and I am able to say they also stick to the road in the wet, just the same as in the dry! This is on Australian roads (Tasmania). I am certainly going to stick with them!
