As someone that rides over 20,000 miles a year and changes his own tires, it's important that they last (no one likes changing tires). The Anakee 3's have proven to give ridiculous mileage, usually over 20,000 even for the rear. They grip well in nearly all conditions. Bottom line they're fantastic tires.

I have no issues with the Anakee III, would buy them again. Drove my bike from Ontario to the BMW Rally in Utah Salt Lake City and they handled great on and off road.

I'm one of fellow reviewer Twayscyc's customers and installed the Anakee IIIs on my Super Tenere based upon his recommendation and my own experience with the original Anakees I ran on my former 2002 DL1000. I've owned everything from a CBR250R to dual sports, sport bikes, Gold Wings and cruisers and I have never gotten the mileage out of a set of tires as I have the Anakee IIIs! They stick, handle great and are by a margin the longest lasting tires I've ever run (in well over 300,000 + miles of riding). The Super Tenere is a heavy bike on relatively narrow tires. Doesn't matter. I can rail the curves like I was on a true sport bike, dragging a peg now and again without fear. Sure, they aren't sand or mud tires. The Anakee Wilds cover that. The Anakees do a nice job on unpaved roads just fine, though. Would I buy another set? Heck yea! What tires do I have on my other bike {2014 FZ-09}? Michelins, of course! (Pilot Road 3)
